Cleveland Art + Design Auction

The Cleveland Art + Design Auction will be held on March 26th, 2011, at 1pm. We are inviting all local artists & designers to submit any items for auction up until December 15th, 2010.

The Cleveland Young Arts Professionals Network will be joining us at Gray's on the evening of December 7th from 6-7:30pm to learn more about the Cleveland Art + Design Auction. This is an open invitation for all artists to attend this evening's event.

Q: What is being accepted for submission?
A: i) All art work (paintings, drawings, sculptures mixed media, kinetic,
       neon)
    ii) All decorative arts (ceramics, glass, metal objects & arts)
    iii) Furniture
    iv) Jewelry (Precious metal and gemstones)
    v) Textiles

Q: Who is the Jury & why?
A: Gray's Auctioneers is the jury. With over two decades of experience in the art & auction industry we understand the market know what sells.

Q: How can I submit my art + design?
A: Submissions are accepted by email (jpg), or a hard copy by mail or delivered in person to the auction gallery prior to December 15th, 2010

Q: What is your commission?
A: This is a traditional auction. We will collect a 25% commission + 2% insurance on all lots that are sold at the auction. Any items not sold will be returned without penalty.

Q: How will the art or design be priced?
A: We will work with you to come up with the fair market estimate and reserve.
