Coronavirus Updates from Gray's Auctioneers
March 24th Update: Auction Postponed to April 29th, shipping offers, and free storage for up to 90 days
As you may already be aware, the governor of Ohio has issued a "shelter in place" order, closing all non-essential businesses. Although our auctions are 100% online, the behind-the-scenes action to set up the auction still requires a human touch. Without being able to visit our gallery to prepare, we must postpone the upcoming auction to April 29th.
With that said, you can still browse the catalogue and bid on items. We are furthermore incentivizing bidding by offering you:
A shipping discount of 5% on shipping costs
15% off on packing and materials
Free storage for 90 days
We wish everyone the best during these times and to remember that we are all in this together! As I said before – let's do everything we can to keep our community healthy, buy what you want but remember you are not in this alone, stay calm yet informed, and support our local businesses whenever possible.
March 18th Update: Auction will be 100% online only
The Coronavirus is spreading quickly and the safety of our clients, staff, and community is our #1 priority. Our thoughts are with those who have been affected by the virus.
With that being said, our upcoming auction will still take place ONLINE only on Friday, March 27th. The in-person preview will be cancelled, however you can preview the items in the catalogue on our website.
We are still fully staffed and working from our homes, therefore if you have any questions – we're here to answer them.
Lastly, we wish everyone the best during these times. Let's do everything we can to keep our young and old healthy, buy only what we need, put others first, stay calm yet informed, and support our local businesses whenever possible.
